How to remove chewing gum from your carpet

Warm vinegar is another carpet gum removal product you will find right in your home. Take a cup of warm vinegar and pour it on the gum. Let this soak for about ten minutes and then scrape the gum off. This one might take two tries to get it all out but still is something you can try when you need to remove chewing gum from your carpet.

It is also important that you know hard scrubbing on carpet will wear away the fibers. It’s ok to use a little strength and elbow grease but not enough to cause a worn out spot in your carpet. If none of the above methods work then you might just have to call in a professional carpet cleaner to get the job done right.
